Your newly re-opened blog looks great, Jessica. Congratulations! Your entry above reminds me of a wonderful version of the song “Shenandoah” that was recorded by the New Christie Minstrels, back when I was in high school. First verse: ‘Tis well I’ve loved this land / golden hills and fertile valleys / I have marveled at their beauty / All my days. Second verse: This world is not my home / I am bound across the river / Just a poor wayfarin’ stranger / Far from home.

A Letter to 2020

I’m just ready to move on from all that you’ve put me through. It’s time. I can’t take it anymore, and I have to believe that something better is coming, and soon. I have to move on and
